The all trains are luxury ones, The Shatabdi Express leaves New Delhi every day except Thursdays. Railway station: Dehradun, 34 km away, serves as the railhead for Mussoorie.


By Road:

• Gun Hill Mussoorie Gun Hill is the 2nd highest peek in Mussoorie and give a beautiful view of the valley below. The air cart / or ropeway ride from the Mall to this hill is of (Rs 25) is sheer exhilaration. It gives a bird's eye-view of cool Mussoorie town, From here you can also see the Doon Valley and the Srikantha, Bunderpunch, Pithwara and Gangotri area group of the Himalayas. The tourists can also approach Gun Hill from a pathway, It forks off from the Mall Road near Kutchery. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the top.



• Municipal Gardens Mussoorie The municipal party or Company gardens was previously (before independence) was also known as the famous Botanical gardens of Mussoorie city. These all gardens were laid by the geologist Dr. H. Fackner in the last century.

• Cloud’s End Cloud’s End is around 18 km away from the Mussoorie town, this place is the most appropriate for the newly married couples and honeymooners. Actually it is a bungalow built by a British Major in 1838, Cloud's End has now been changed into a hotel. The resort is surrounded by houses a wide variety of flora and fauna and lush forests, besides offering a panoramic view of snow clad Himalayas and the Yamuna River.
