The holy place was the Uttrakhand ie; Haridwar is one of the most popular Pilgrimage destination in India. This holy places is covered with the mountains in uttranchal state, now due to geo re location it is considered in Uttrakhand. The word "Haridwar", mean “A Gateway to God”. The old town is situated at bank of the mighty river Ganga. There are a lots of is lots of ashrams and temples in Haridwar. This place is as old as the Varanasi Town of India. On the bank of Ganga, one “Har Ki Paudi” means “Footsteps of God”, This place is very famous for the night worship of mother ganga river, This place is main activity center of every type of prayer and worships like Ganga Aarti (worship of mother ganga river with golden lamps at night). : This is around 6 km far from the Haridwar, located at the top hill of "Neel Parvat" (Blue mountain). The famous temple is situated at the other bank of river Ganga. The travelers can reach here by ropeway trolley (Udan Khatola) or by foot.

Mansa Devi Temple

: This Temple is about 3.5 km top to ganga river and haridwar on the mountain, It is a big beautiful temple and from there you can easily get a full view of Ganga river and the haridwar town. This is situated at the top of Bilwa Parvat (Bilwa Mountain). You can also hire a air rope cart or ropeway trolley (Udan Khatola) which is connected hariware and Mansa Devi Temple, the peoples can also reach here by foot path. How to Reach


By Air: You can reach there with flight and nearest airport is Jollygrant in Dehardun, about 35 km far from here.

By Train: This place is fully connected by rail to the major cities. The popular railway station is Haridwar Railway station. Some major trains are – Delhi-Haridwar-Dehardun & Bombay-Haridwar-Dehradun.

By Road: All major cities by road are well conected with haridwar. The regular buses run from Delhi to Haridwar.
